Robert L. Grimes Jr was born July 17th, 1965 to the parents of R. L. and Dorothy Grimes in Clovis, New Mexico. He graduated from Clovis High School in May of 1984 (Go Wildcats)
Salvation: January 26th, 1986 at the age of 20 in Clovis, New Mexico under the leadership of Superintendent W. C. Green, Sr. pastor of the First Church of God in Christ. In October of 1986 on a Sunday night my first message was “If you suffer make it count” I Peter 2:20.In August of 1988 the family relocated to Barstow, CA where he joined the ministry of Barstow COGIC under leadership of Bishop Nathaniel Jones, Jr., under Bishop Jones ministry he received the Holy Ghost in 1989. It was under Bishop Jones that he developed a love for studying God’s word on a deeper level. It was in 1989 that he acknowledged and accepted the call into the ministry and was licensed as a Minister in the Church of God in Christ. In November of 1989 he enrolled at the National Education Center pursuing an Associate’s Degree as an Electronic Technician. In December of 1990 he transferred schools to Dallas, TX where Robert received a Associate’s Degree as an Electronic Technician in June of 1991. Wanting to get his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering the only school to accept my credits was Tampa Technical Institute located in Tampa, FL. Leaving Dallas, TX in school July of 1991 he made my way east to Tampa, FL. Robert was a member of College Hill COGIC from August 1991 until January of 1993.
